                                                Proud Partners:

Allens Bridge: Recently, Tyler Baker, new General Manager of Waskesiu Golf Course, accepted the second instalment of a donation commitment totalling $60,000, which has funded the construction of a new bridge on the scenic 2nd hole of the famed Stanley Thompson course. The four golfers, Ben Kelley, Joel Broda, Cody Hobbs, and Zac Griffin came up with the idea of hosting an annual golf tournament, in memory of their friend Alan Vincent Hadley Logue, who passed away in 2012, after battling AML Leukemia. It is held each May long weekend, a date that was significant to their group of friends, who gathered together annually, in Lakeland, at the lakes and cottages where they all grew up.  After two years, the total donated is $17,000, and the third annual is slated for May, 2015, and promises to be fully booked up, as has been in the past. "
